Using a comprehensive global approach to factor in individualized anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, Ben employs a variety of principles and manual therapeutic assessments and techniques. These concepts help shape Ben’s practice to more efficiently and effectively address dysfunction at the root or cause of the issue, rather than just relieving symptoms. Some of the techniques used are:
myofascial release & fluidic fascial rebalancing
craniosacral therapy & biodynamics
muscle energy technique & strain-counterstrain
visceral manipulation, cranial osteopathy
breathing assessment, education, and retraining
Growing up as a mouth breather who loved sports but hated running and how it made him feel, Ben found osteopathy and then the Buteyko method (via Oxygen Advantage), which align beautifully. Over time, he worked hard to become a light, slow nose breather, (through osteopathic manual therapy, myofunctional therapy, awareness, and the buteyko method), and his life was impacted massively.
Connecting with the functionality of our brilliant bodies, we are empowered to understand that when our systems work harmoniously, the innate evolutionary potential for health and equilibrium is encouraged to take over; where health thrives and dysfunction cannot.
